Construction Ahead

Highway 71 between Spirit Lake and Okoboji will be getting a facelift in 2023. Arrowwood Okoboji is located just north of the impacted area. Construction will begin Spring of 2023, with a pause between Memorial and Labor Day, and pick up again this fall. We're thankful to the crews working on this main connector of the lakes region and are excited to see this project come to completion. 

Highway 71 and all businesses along it will be open and accessible. There will be no construction related to this project from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day. Please view additional construction details below pertaining to the specificc stage of the project we are currently in.
